As a child, I thrived in the arts but struggled within the rigid systems of memorization and exams. Years later, when I began working on my first children’s book, I returned to those memories — creating from the perspective of “little Suri,” who never stopped being curious. Through color, craft, and storytelling, I found a way to heal those early wounds and celebrate the joy of learning differently.
