Our Planet
A self initiated project for Our Planet Week, a challenge on Instagram hosted by illustrators across the globe.
The task is to create works that celebrate and create awareness about our natural world, drawing inspiration from rivers, oceans, forests, and further recognise our responsibility to preserve and protect the environment.
I created a series of 3 illustrations over 3 days around the prompts

The Approach
Synergy, symmetry, and cycles became the visual language of this series. I wanted to centre the flora, fauna, and fungi that thrive within — and because of — rivers, forests, and oceans. The illustrations examine ecosystems as interconnected systems of exchange, where organisms sustain one another through regeneration, decay, growth, and coexistence.
The series reflects on the intelligence of the natural world: its ability to replenish, adapt, and maintain balance when not disrupted by human interference.
