A self-directed project exploring conservation and awareness surrounding endangered and at-risk native New Zealand birds. Created as a series of textured spot illustrations, the works focus closely on the individuality, markings, and presence of each bird species, using realism and tactile detail to support non-fiction and educational storytelling.
